Ownership Policy

"Yours, durably" is a product principle, not a slogan. This page states what it means in practice.

Your work belongs to you

Everything you and your AI agent produce in your workspace — documents, tasks, projects, conversations, uploaded files, apps you build, and websites you publish — is yours. To the extent AI-generated output in your workspace is capable of ownership, we claim no rights in it and assign any interest we might have to you. We claim no intellectual-property rights over your workspace content.

What license we need from you

To run the Service at all, we need a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content — solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending relevant context to AI model providers to generate your agent's responses). This license ends when your content is deleted, except where short-lived backups or legal obligations require brief retention.

Take your work with you

You never need our permission to take your work elsewhere. Your content is yours to copy out of the app at any time, and you can request a full copy of your workspace by emailing contact@duoexpert.ai. Self-serve one-click export is on the roadmap; until it ships, we do it for you on request.

The agent is replaceable; your work is permanent

Your workspace does not depend on any particular AI model or agent. Models will change and improve; your projects, documents, and history stay exactly where they are.

Published sites and apps

Websites and apps you publish through DuoExpert remain yours. You can point them at your own domain, and you are responsible for their content (see the Terms of Service acceptable-use rules).

Deletion is real

Deleting your account or a workspace removes its content — documents, tasks, conversations, files, and published sites — from our systems, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not keep a shadow copy of your work.

Your input, your responsibility

You must have the rights to the content you bring into your workspace. Ownership of what comes out cannot launder rights you didn't have going in — for example, third-party material you upload keeps whatever license terms it came with.
